Lisa Friedman writes novels, nonfiction, essays and a humor column titled Laugh Out Loud. Her work appears in the New York Times Sunday Magazine and in newspapers and magazines around the country. Lisa loves to work with writers. She coaches individuals working toward publication and has lead workshops, discussions and writing labs in elementary and high schools in MD. She earned her MA in Creative Writing from the Johns Hopkins University where she is a guest lecturer, and has won several awards for her work including Best Humorist by the Erma Bombeck Center.
