Lena Beckenstein began assisting Writopia Lab administratively in the fall of 2010. She has been participating in Writopia workshops for three years and is excited to spend her gap year working here. She has been published in I Can’t Keep My Own Secrets: Six-Word Memoirs by Teens Famous and Obscure and in The Chronogram. Next year, she will study at Hampshire College.
