Writopia Lab writing teachers are available to work privately with  students during the day, after school, and over the weekend. All of our teachers are published writers who have been trained in our inspiring teaching method.

During the first session, your young writer brainstorms ideas with the teacher, discusses elements of what makes a powerful short story, and begins writing. During the sessions that follow, the teacher continues to walk through the writing process with your child, allowing her time to process, revise, and write on her own. By the end of ten private sessions, most writers will have completed a short story!

Writers ages 12-18 may submit their writings to nation's longest running recognition program for young writers, the 2012 Scholastic Awards. Our writers win more Scholastic Awards than do any other group of kids in the country! Our writers of all ages also regularly submit their work for publication with great success.
