School Year Camps
Come have fun this spring break writing fiction, plays, memoirs, or poetry with published writers and produced playwrights.
Spring Break Camp:
- Dates: Two weeks offered!
- March 25th - March 29th April 1st - April 5th
- Where:Tenleytown, DC
- Times: Full-day camp: 9:00AM - 4:00PM
- Half-day workshops: 9:00AM - 12:00PM or 1:00PM - 4:00PM
- Ages: 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, teens
Full-day Camp Description:
Campers will spend the morning in workshop, writing and refining their pieces with published writers and produced playwrights. All writers are issued a challenge: to complete a fully developed, polished piece! In the afternoon, writers can choose from fun electives with specialized focuses (song writing, poetry writing, improv, etc.). We'll also play enriching and exciting writing games!
Fee: $770/week for full-day workshops. Some financial aid will be available.
Half-Day Workshop Description:
Young writers will work with published authors and produced playwrights to complete a fully developed piece over the course of the week. We'll also play enriching and fun writing games during workshop.
Fee: Full tuition for half-day workshops is $525.
