After-school and weekend writing workshops are offered during the School year. Enrollment is ongoing throughout the fall, winter, and spring semesters, and we prorate sessions for those who sign up late.
Vacation ProgramsWritopia Lab offers vacation programs during school breaks.
Summer ProgramsHalf-day, full-day, and sleepaway programs are available during the summer.
One-on-one private sessions are available in-lab, in-home, or online via Skype, and can be scheduled for all types of writing, including creative writing, analytical/expository writing, and college essays.
For college essay preparation in Westchester and Fairfield counties, Writopia Lab offers private sessions throughout the year.

H2H Regional Scholastic Writing Awards
Writopia Lab is proud to administer the Hudson-to-Housatonic Writing Region as an affiliate for the Scholastic Writing Awards in nine counties north of New York City: Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange, Ulster, and Dutchess counties in New York; Fairfield, Litchfield, and New Haven counties in Connecticut.
Stay tuned to our mailing list for updates on special events, which include a panel series addressing issues of literacy and culture; showings for the Worldwide Plays Festival; and open-mic student readings at local bookstores and libraries, where young writers are encouraged to share their completed original works.
Online Literary MagazineWritopia Lab publishes The (Parenthetical), highlighting completed, polished works by Writopia Lab kids and teens, as well as Scholastic Writing Award-winning works from the New York City and Washington DC metropolitan regions.
