Disability Empowerment Workshop

Teens ages 12 to 16 with physical disabilities are invited to attend a weeklong, half-day workshop led by Writopia alumnus Chris Williams and Rebecca Wallace-Segall. Participants can choose to write fiction, memoir, spoken word, or opinion pieces that may—but in no way are required to—explore themes surrounding disability. Each writer will leave with one completed piece and have the option to submit work to a variety of publications and platforms. The workshop will culminate in a reading for an audience of friends and family.

Led by Writopia Alumnus Chris Williams & Rebecca Wallace-Segall
