Angela is thrilled to be teaching for Writopia Lab! She has a BA in English from Harvard and an MFA in Creative Writing from Notre Dame, where she was Managing Editor of the Notre Dame Review. She's taught literature and creative writing at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, in Seoul, South Korea, as well as essay writing for Boston Academy. Her debut novel, The Queens of K-town (2007), has been assigned in diaspora Korean literature classes at Berkeley, Stanford, University of British Columbia, and the University of Seoul. While living in Sweden for five years, she worked as a screenwriter, an editor for a think tank, and writer for a documentary film start-up. She's recently been part of the Tin House Workshops and the Napa Valley Writers' Conference. Kelly Link selected her novel for a Tin House mentorship. Excerpts have been published in Azalea: the Harvard Journal of Korean Literature and Two Thirds North, Stockholm University's literary journal.
