Rebecca founded Writopia Lab in April 2007, currently directs the national organization, and teaches writing workshops in NYC and at special events throughout the country. On her own, she grew the organization in NYC and established and oversaw a DC branch for Writopia's first two years of existence. She is thrilled to have a team of accomplished people from various social and business sectors, help shape the future of Writopia's youth literary community.
Director of Operations

Jeremy Wallace-Segall is the Director of Operations for Writopia Lab. Jeremy oversees technology and back-office functions, contributes to the organizational literature, recruits new students and new schools, and does light housekeeping.
Jeremy has built and implemented databases and websites for 15 years. For the past six years he has run a consulting business, ABCDataworks, that brings database, website, and communications strategy to non-profits and socially minded corporate ventures. Jeremy spent a few years in the corporate world, but most of his work experience has been focused on making the world a better place by helping non-profit organizations manage their data collection and dissemination. Jeremy has written corporate policy documents, software documentation, branding copy for websites, tutorials, and recently published a featured article of the month on Idealware.org.

Tim Rogers has been an active supporter of Writopia Lab since its earliest incarnation in 2007, advising the founder on everything from short-term problem solving to social-business develop. He is Vice President at Eagle Advisors where he makes allocation decisions for the family office of the founder of a publicly-traded software company, managing over $1 billion of private equity investments alone. As a board member, Tim focuses on advising for general program development. Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts from Siena Colege and an MBA from NYU Stern. Tim resides on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with his family, near the Writopia Lab offices.

Peggy Teich is a business librarian, an educator, and a Writopia mom. She has been advising the Writopia team on research methods and community building since the fall of 2009. An adjunct librarian at CUNY’s Baruch College for over twelve years, she was previously Vice President and manager of Citibank’s Research library. She worked as a business librarian at an investment bank and advertising agency as well. In addition to her corporate experience, Peggy taught business librarianship in the Masters of library science programs at Pratt Institute, Columbia University and Rutgers. She has been a guest speaker and lecturer at numerous professional association meetings, and graduate schools locally and lectured on business librarianship at the École des Sciences de l’Information, part of the Ministry of Economic Planning in Rabat Morocco. She has contributed to numerous professional publications and most recently served as a chapter consultant on The Basic Business Librarian – Core Resources, Greenwood Press 2002.

Jacob Radcliff is an experienced courtroom advocate and appears regularly in the N.Y. Supreme Courts and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He also has experience in appeals, arbitration, mediation and non-binding dispute resolution.
In addition to advising clients with regard to litigation, Mr. Radcliff counsels corporate and individual clients on a wide variety of issues, including intellectual property, interested transactions by corporate officers, executive compensation, real property and contract.
