Writopia Lab Manhattan Quick Facts Summer writing workshops meet five days in a row for three-hour sessions. Our Manhattan fall and spring workshops meet weekly for 10 1.5 hour after school sessions or for 8 2-hour weekend sessions. Enrollment is ongoing. See the Price Menu , and Register in order to sign up for workshops! Or arrange to have us lead a 10-week in-school creative writing seminar at your school.
Summer Workshops are in Session!
Registration for summer workshops is still open. Workshops meet for five or ten days (your choice) every week, Monday through Friday, from June 14th through August 27th . Sunday weekly workshops are also offered over the summer from June 27th through August 1st (see below). We run specialized workshops for hesitant or struggling writers throughout the summer. Please inquire.
Participants who have completed a piece of memoir, fiction, a stage play, or poetry by the end of the workshop will be invited to read their writing at a local book store during the year.
Since our workshops are so small, we can tailor the schedule below to meet the needs of our families. Please let us know if you have a special request.

Students may register for a partial semester, an enitre semester, or a full year! Our Manhattan fall, winter, and spring workshops meet weekly for 10 1.25 hour afterschool sessions or for 8 2-hour weekend sessions (on either Saturday or Sunday). Workshops do not meet on certain school holidays. Since our kids come from a variety of schools, we create a specific holiday schedule that makes sense for each individual workshop.
