Newspaper Publishing

Calling all teen journalists! In this rigorous and super fun program, participants join the newsroom, identify and develop story ideas, and write the next issue of The Writopia Quarterly News.

This workshop is an excellent opportunity for teens to experience what it's like to work in a newsroom alongside seasoned journalists and editors and have their pieces published in a real online newspaper.

Application Materials
• Two journalistic writing samples
• A teacher recommendation (or the name of your Writopia instructor)
• A paragraph explaining why you are interested in taking part
