Amelia Frank

Debate Coach

Amelia Frank began her journey at Writopia Lab taking essay and creative writing workshops. She now brings her experience as a competitive debater and instructor to the organization that helped her develop herself as a writer and thinker. Amelia has been ranked the 10th best debater in NY state at a varsity level, has qualified for the Tournament of Champions twice, has won Harvard Debate’s summer tournament as a rising sophomore, and has coached underclassmen to make it to elimination rounds at a varsity level. Amelia is also a published fiction and nonfiction writer, having won four Scholastic awards and contributed to investing and ESG research. She is a current senior at the Spence school and will continue her studies at Johns Hopkins University in the fall.
