Harrison first joined Writopia Lab as a volunteer mentor in Writopia Lab’s Write-to-Recognition (W2R) program. Before finding Writopia, he started his career as a web developer, making websites and creating marketing campaigns for large companies, but he then decided to make a career change to become an educator and help create a better future. After working as a W2R mentor, he worked as a counselor and division head at WriCampia and AWS (Advanced Writing Seminar) for multiple years. He created the first ever Running Club at WriCampia in 2024! Now he utilizes all of his past experience and knowledge as Writopia Lab’s Education and Communication Coordinator. He loves working with young writers and helping them feel whole as they develop into well rounded individuals. Also, as a part of his role, he updates the website and emails you all (someone has to do it). When not at Writopia, he enjoys running, consuming anything that can be considered art, and playing board games with friends.
