Cory-Alice Andre-JohnsonCory-Alice André-Johnson enthusiastically joined Writopia in 2026 as a Community Partnership Coordinator and Instructor in the San Francisco Bay Area. She holds a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Virginia and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Africana Studies at Tulane University. She writes ethnographic fiction and critical theory, often blending the two together. Her first book, Between Bones and Sea, is in contract with Duke University Press. She has also taught extensively in university settings, including a number of college writing courses.
