Katarina LaPoll

Katarina La Poll is delighted to join Writopia Lab! Katarina studied theater arts and dance at UC Santa Cruz and creative writing at NYU. She has received support from the Community of Writers and Columbia University where she holds an MFA in Creative Writing, Poetry. Katarina has ghostwritten memoirs and autobiographies for leading voices across industries. Alongside literary work, she has explored entertainment journalism and science communications, interviewing artists and ecologists, and writing on topics from the mysteries of the creative process to the magic of native plants! Her work has appeared in films screened at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and selected for festivals including HollyShorts and Cinequest. Katarina is also a seasoned college essay instructor. Beyond the arts, she loves naturalist walks with her dog Gizmo and is excited to share in the spirit of innovation at Writopia Lab.
