Lillie Lainoff

Lillie Lainoff is excited to join Writopia Lab as an instructor! She is a fencer, coach, and the founder of Disabled Kidlit Writers. Her short stories are featured in The Los Angeles Review, the YA anthology These Bodies Ain’t Broken, and the upcoming MG anthology, Boundless, and her non-fiction published in The Washington Post and Washington City Paper. She received her B.A. from Yale University and her M.A. in Creative Writing Prose Fiction from the University of East Anglia. One for All, her debut novel, was named a Best Book of 2022 by NPR, a Junior Library Guild Gold Standard selection, a YA Library Services Association Best Fiction for Young Adults pick, and a Booklist Best First Novel for Youth selection, amongst other awards, and was recently featured on Jeopardy! as a clue. She lives in Washington, D.C.
